This is a musical about the civil rights movement under the leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King and his wife Coretta Scott King. Casting for a pre-Broadway production in California and recording of 2 concept albums, will begin in the spring of 2025. Kings - The Musical
For California Performing Arts Foundation I am producing an album with songs about wrongful incarcerations, as part of the project Stories of Innocence. Each song on the album tells the story of a wrongfully convicted person, but from different perspectives. I wrote a couple of the songs from the perspective of a wrongfully convicted accused, and a juror who has been haunted by guilt and remorse for many years after wrongfully convicting someone who received the death penalty.
I have written a song, which I will offer to any artist, to perform a cover of, and post on their preferred platforms. Any royalties I receive will be donated to charities working on the relief efforts. Read more, and listen to different renditions of the song, here.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg needs no introduction. I am currently writing a concept album about this iconic supreme court justice. I hope to turn it into a stage musical at some point.

This was a project where I wrote more than 70 songs over an intense 2 months period. Using AI as a collaborator to produce and perform demos of the songs, I was able to transform my lyrics and musical ideas into decent demos at an impressive speed.
Many of the songs are satirical commentaries to the society and reality we all find ourselves in, but there was some serious stuff among the songs. The result was material enough for 5 albums. The first album to be released is an album with satirical county songs, titled "My Pen is in my hand". It was
released on Spotify and other major platforms. 4 other albums are being produced.
I am working on a blues album titled "Monday Morning Blues", with all vocals and instruments performed by AI, and all lyrics and composition done by me. This project allows me to release my music to the public, while sparing them the gruesome experience of listening to my vocals.
I am an avid wood sculpture artist. I work mostly with wood from fallen trees and driftwood.
Some day, I will get around to putting a contact form here. Until then I can be contacted on ken@kennethreece.com
